Quick answer: Apex Detail Studio has opened its Al Quoz studio to Dubai’s car community for two recent meets. The first, a season opener put together by @vishster, brought what the reel calls a full lineup of serious builds under one roof to kick off the upcoming season. The second, Cars & Aseer, was held by Apex in association with Dubai Petrolheads and filmed by Social Kandura, with cars, bikes and plenty of people turning up. Both were about the same thing: good cars, good company and a clean, well lit space to enjoy them.

Dubai has one of the most active car scenes anywhere, but a lot of meets still happen in car parks, late at night, in the heat. An indoor studio changes that: cars parked properly, good lighting, and no sand blowing across freshly cleaned paint.
That is why we like opening our 20,000 sq ft Al Quoz studio to the community. Our day job is protecting and detailing cars, but the people who care most about their cars are also the people who turn up to meets. Here is what happened at the two most recent ones.
What happened at the two car meets?
Both meets took place inside the studio, but each had its own crowd and organiser.
| Season opener | Cars & Aseer | |
|---|---|---|
| Organised by | @vishster, hosted by Apex Detail Studio | Apex Detail Studio in association with Dubai Petrolheads |
| Reel posted | 20 September 2026 | 28 August 2026 |
| The feel | A full lineup and serious builds to start the season | Cars, people and conversation, filmed by Social Kandura |
| Seen in the reel | Modified performance cars, including a blue coupe with a tall rear wing | A blue Jeep Wrangler, motorcycles and a busy studio floor |
The season opener reel, posted by jibranmj, promises that this is only the beginning, with more meets, more drives and more cars to come.

Why does a detailing studio host car meets?
Because the car community and the detailing world overlap almost completely. The owners who modify, track and show their cars are the same owners who think hardest about paint, film and finish, and a meet is the easiest way for them to see what a studio actually looks like inside.
It also works the other way. Seeing dozens of cars together shows what Dubai does to paint: stone chips on front bumpers, wash marks on dark colours, faded trim on cars that live outside. Conversations at a meet often start with a question about paint protection film or ceramic coating, and an indoor space lets us answer them with the car right there.
How can a club or organiser plan a meet at Apex?
Every meet is agreed directly with our team, so the best start is a conversation.
- Send the idea. Message us on WhatsApp with your club or group, the kind of cars and roughly how many you expect.
- Agree the date. We work around the studio’s working schedule so customer cars are never at risk.
- Plan the layout. Cars are placed so people can walk around them safely, with space kept clear for anything still being worked on.
- Share the content. Most meets are filmed, so agree who is posting and tag each other, as @vishster, Dubai Petrolheads and Social Kandura did.
- Leave it clean. A tidy studio at the end means the next meet is easy to say yes to.

What is Cars & Aseer?
Cars & Aseer is the name of the meet Apex held in association with Dubai Petrolheads. Aseer is the Arabic word for juice, and the name keeps the focus where a good meet should be: relaxed, social and open to anyone who loves cars.
The Social Kandura reel shows the mix that makes it work: bikes beside off-roaders, people interviewed about their cars, and the Dubai Petrolheads flag on the studio floor.
What does it cost to protect a car like the ones at the meet?
Full-body PPF at Apex starts from AED 11,000, depending on the film, before 5% VAT. Modified cars often have aftermarket bumpers, wings and body kits, so the scope is always confirmed after inspection.
- Clear full-body PPF: from AED 11,000 before VAT, depending on the film.
- Satin or matte finish film: an extra AED 500 on the relevant film.
- Colour PPF, ceramic coating, tint and detailing: quoted per car after inspection.
Our PPF price guide explains what drives the figure, and colour PPF vs vinyl wrap is worth reading if your build is due a new look.
How do you keep a show car looking right between meets?
- Rinse sand and dust off before touching the paint, then hand wash with a pH-neutral shampoo.
- Dry with clean microfibre towels rather than leaving water to spot in the sun.
- Keep pressure-washer nozzles away from film edges and aftermarket parts.
- Clean wheels, arches and engine bays carefully; dry ice detailing is ideal for hard-to-reach areas.
- Park in the shade or under cover whenever possible.
If your car is coated, our guide on washing a ceramic-coated car covers the safe products and routine.
