Why does a Cayenne GTS need full PPF?
The GTS sits between a sports car and a family SUV. It is used daily, driven quickly, and parked everywhere. In Dubai that means:
- Stone chips at highway speed, especially on the bonnet, bumper and mirrors
- Sand abrasion on the lower doors and rear arches
- UV exposure that slowly fades and dries paint
- Swirl marks from automatic or careless washing
- Light scratches from tight car parks and traffic
Full PPF deals with all of these while keeping the paint exactly as Porsche finished it.
Why XPEL film?
We used XPEL clear film on this car. It is used worldwide on high-value cars because of its durability and clarity:
- Self-healing top layer: light scratches disappear with heat
- High gloss and clarity, without an orange peel texture
- Strong impact resistance against stones and road debris
- UV inhibitors that protect the paint from fading
- Hydrophobic top coat for easier washing
Our installation process
- Preparation and decontamination: a thorough wash, chemical decontamination to remove iron, tar and road film, and a surface inspection.
- Paint correction: even new cars can carry transport marks. We corrected the paint first, because PPF locks in the condition underneath.
- Pattern cutting and alignment: each panel was cut digitally for the Cayenne GTS, then aligned by hand around curves, badges and trim.
- Full body coverage: front bumper and bonnet, front and rear fenders, doors and handles, side skirts and pillars, rear bumper and tailgate, headlights and mirrors. Edges were wrapped wherever possible.
- Inspection and curing: a final check under controlled lighting for lift lines, bubbles and imperfections, then time to cure.

The result
The Cayenne GTS kept its deep gloss and sharp reflections, now with an invisible layer of armour. From close up or across a car park, the finish looks like bare paint. The factory paint is preserved, which supports resale value and removes the worry of every new chip.
