The Purosangue is Ferrari’s first four-door, four-seat car, powered by a naturally aspirated V12. It is built to be used every day, which in Dubai means motorway miles, sand and tight car parks. That is exactly the kind of use that chips and scratches paint.
If you are looking at Ferrari Purosangue PPF in Dubai, this build shows the full job on this exact car, with every photo taken from the video further down the page. We have also changed the colour of a Purosangue and an RS6 to Nardo Grey with colour PPF.

What did we do to this Ferrari Purosangue?
We covered every painted panel in premium satin paint protection film. Satin film has a textured top layer, so the paint keeps its colour while reflections soften into an even matte sheen. Underneath, the film takes stone chips and light scratches instead of the paint, and it can be removed later to bring the gloss back.
| Area | Risk on a Purosangue | What the film does |
|---|---|---|
| Nose, bonnet and front wings | Stone chips at motorway speed | Takes the impact instead of the paint |
| Wheel arches and lower panels | Grit thrown up by the tyres | Protects the panels closest to the road |
| Doors and rear doors | Scuffs from daily use | Absorbs light marks, self-heals with heat |
| Every panel | Sun and sand in Dubai | Even satin finish over protected paint |
Why choose satin PPF on a Purosangue?
Because it changes the look and protects the paint at the same time. A satin finish suits the Purosangue’s long bonnet and muscular arches, and unlike matte paint, a marked panel of film can simply be replaced. Unlike a vinyl wrap, PPF is self-healing and made to absorb impacts.
Not sure which finish suits your car? Our guide to gloss vs satin PPF compares the two.

How did we fit the film without removing badges?
With precut patterns. Each panel of film is cut by a plotter to the exact shape of the Purosangue before it touches the car, so there is no blade work on the paint and no need to remove badges or trim. The team adds extra film at the edges and tucks it behind each panel so no film line shows.
- Preparation. The car was cleaned and decontaminated so nothing was trapped under the film.
- Precut film. Patterns for the Purosangue were cut by plotter.
- Installation. Film was laid panel by panel, stretched over the curves and squeegeed flat.
- Details. The team worked the film around the Scuderia shields, the prancing horse and the Ferrari lettering.
- Edges and arches. Edges were tucked and pressed into the wheel arches.
- Final check. The sheen was checked panel by panel before handover.
Our precut vs hand-cut PPF guide explains why we never trim film on the paint.

- Hydrophobic refresh: we restore the film’s water-repellent top layer.
- Gentle hand wash and detail: the car is cleaned the safe way for film.
- UV check: we make sure the film is still protecting against fading and oxidation.

Frequently asked questions
Is aftercare included?
Yes. Our yearly maintenance package covers a PPF inspection, a hydrophobic refresh, a gentle hand wash and detail, and a UV check.
What did Apex Detail Studio do to the Ferrari Purosangue?
We covered every painted panel in full-body premium satin paint protection film, fitted with precut patterns and tucked edges, without removing badges.
Does satin PPF change the colour of the car?
No. The colour stays the same. The satin top layer softens reflections into an even matte sheen.
Can satin PPF be removed to go back to gloss?
Yes. The film can be removed professionally later, and the original paint underneath has been protected.
Were badges removed for the install?
No. Precut patterns are shaped around the badges and lettering, so nothing had to come off the car.
How long does a full PPF install take?
Full-body PPF generally takes two to three days in the studio.
How much does Ferrari Purosangue PPF cost in Dubai?
Full-body PPF for SUVs at Apex starts from AED 13,500, depending on options, before 5% VAT. Satin film is priced as an option on top.
