2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse Full PPF in Dubai

This dark blue 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse came to Apex Detail Studio in Al Quoz, Dubai, for full-body paint protection film. We used custom precut XPEL Ultimate Plus with a full tuck-in, without removing any parts of the car, for a clean OEM+ finish. What did we do to this Mustang Dark Horse?

We covered the whole car in gloss paint protection film. The film keeps the dark blue paint looking factory fresh while taking the stone chips, sand and wash marks that Dubai roads put on a car.

As the video description says, the install used custom precut patterns with a full tuck-in, and we did not remove any parts of the car. That keeps the factory fit untouched while still hiding the film edges.

What does full tuck-in without removing parts mean?

Full tuck-in means the film is wrapped around the panel edges wherever the gaps allow, so the edge sits out of sight instead of stopping on the face of the panel. Doing it without removing parts means badges, lights, handles and trims stay on the car, so nothing is unclipped and refitted.

How was the PPF installed on the Dark Horse?

The paint was machine polished first, then each precut panel was laid on slip solution, positioned, squeegeed out and set with heat. Edges were tucked from inside the door openings and around the handles and lights.
