Why satin PPF on a Sterrato?
Because it gives the green paint a soft matte look that suits the Sterrato’s rugged styling, while the film underneath takes stone chips and scratches. How did we fit the film on the Sterrato?
- Preparation. The car was washed and decontaminated before any film went on.
- Precut film. Patterns for the Sterrato were cut by plotter, so no blade touched the paint.
- Large panels. Bonnet, doors and rear were laid panel by panel and squeegeed flat.
- Edges and details. Film was tucked into the side intakes, around the roof scoop and along the orange trim.
- Glass. The windows were tinted and the windshield got its protection film.
- Wheels. AlloyGator rim protectors were fitted to each wheel.
- Final check. Every panel was inspected under studio lights.
