How do we clean a car interior step by step?

Our interior process runs from dry sand removal to deep cleaning, protection and finally odour treatment. Each stage is matched to a specific problem the Dubai climate creates.

1. Extraction vacuum: a full vacuum with professional extraction equipment pulls fine sand and dust from carpets, seats and mats.
2. Air-blow and second vacuum: compressed air dislodges sand from seams, dashboard gaps and vents, then a second vacuum pass collects it.
3. Leather care: leather is cleaned with a pH-neutral cleaner and soft brushes, then conditioned with a product that includes UV protection.
4. Plastics and hard trim: cleaned, given a non-greasy protective coating, and treated against UV fading where needed.
5. Hot-water extraction: carpets and fabric upholstery are deep cleaned with hot-water extraction, and dry within a few hours.
6. Glass: every interior glass surface is cleaned streak-free, including the hard-to-reach inner top edge of the windscreen.
7. Odour treatment: the AC system and cabin air are deodorised with ozone treatment or an equivalent.

How do you remove bad smells from a car in Dubai?

Lasting odour removal means treating the source: the fabric that holds the smell and the AC system that circulates it. Air fresheners only cover it up for a few days.

Hot-water extraction removes the residue in carpets and upholstery that holds pet, food and spilled-drink smells. Ozone treatment, or an equivalent deodorisation, then works on the AC system and the cabin air, where bacteria and mould cause that musty smell when the air conditioning starts. Together, these two steps deal with pet odours, food smells and stale AC smells that a normal clean leaves behind.

It also helps to know where smells come from. In Dubai, the most common causes we see are spilled drinks soaked into carpets, food crumbs under seats, damp floor mats after rain or a wash, pets, and the AC system itself. If a smell returns a few weeks after a clean, the source is usually still there, so we look for it rather than adding more fragrance.

Yes, in most cases. Professional products and equipment remove stubborn stains such as shoe marks and cola spills without damaging the fabric underneath.

The key is matching the cleaner to the material and the stain, then lifting it out rather than scrubbing it in. The sooner a stain is treated, the easier it is to remove completely; one that has baked in the summer heat for months may lighten rather than disappear.

Headlining stains need extra care, because the fabric is glued to the roof and too much moisture can make it sag. Light-coloured leather picks up dye from jeans, which we lift gently with a leather-safe cleaner before conditioning. 2. Vacuum and dust: vacuum seats, carpets, mats and crevices, then dust with a soft brush or microfibre cloth.
3. Treat stains: use a cleaner suited to the fabric and scrub gently.
4. Leather: clean with a leather cleaner, then apply a conditioner.
5. Hard surfaces: wipe the dashboard, door panels and centre console with an all-purpose interior cleaner, then apply an interior protectant.
