This Mansory P720 came to Apex Detail Studio in Al Quoz, Dubai, for XPEL Ultimate Plus paint protection film. We inspected and corrected the paint, cut the film from XPEL DAP precut patterns and fitted it with full tuck-in edges and no blade on the paint, so the Mansory supercar PPF is close to invisible. What did we do to this Mansory P720?

We protected this Mansory P720 with XPEL Ultimate Plus paint protection film, fitted from DAP precut patterns with fully tucked edges and no blade on the paint. Before installation the paint was inspected, polished and corrected so the film sealed in a flawless finish.

How was the PPF installed on the Mansory P720?

We followed a five-step process: paint inspection and correction, DAP precut design, surface preparation, precision application and a final inspection. The key is that every piece of film was cut by the plotter from XPEL’s Design Access Program, so no blade ever touched the paint.

1. Inspection and correction. We inspected the paint under studio lighting, then polished and corrected it to remove imperfections before they could be sealed under the film.
2. DAP precut design. XPEL’s DAP software maps the film to the car’s curves, and the patterns were matched to this car’s specification, so no manual trimming was needed.
3. Surface preparation. The car was cleaned and decontaminated to prevent dust and bubbles under the film.
4. Precision application. Each panel was laid by hand with full tuck-in edges and no blade contact, for a nearly invisible finish.
5. Final inspection. Every edge and panel was checked for quality before handover.

What makes PPF harder on a high-performance car?

High-performance cars have complex body curves, deep recesses and aggressive aerodynamics, which make the film harder to fit invisibly and harder to keep from lifting. A Mansory body adds even more of these shapes.

The main challenges are keeping the film invisible with no visible edges, protecting delicate paint from manual cutting, and making sure edges in tight recesses stay down over time. Precut patterns and full tuck-in edges answer all three: the film is shaped before it reaches the car, the edges wrap out of sight, and there is no knife on the paint. Installation happens in our temperature-controlled bays, which keeps dust out and helps the adhesive behave consistently.

What does the finished Mansory P720 look like?

The finished P720 looks as Mansory delivered it, with deep gloss and no visible film lines. The corrected paint under the film is cleaner than when the car arrived, and the film’s hydrophobic top layer makes it bead water and shed dust.

Owners can add further protection on top.
